As sometimes happens, it initially didn't look like much was happening last night at sunset. Until I looked behind me. This was actually what was happening east of where I was standing. Always look behind you when you are doing landscape photos. Often that is where the action is!g
The wedgetail eagle is probably the most beautiful bird I have seen. In Alice Springs is a Desert Park that is stunning. They have a bird show with free flying wild birds. This particular eagle was injured as a young bird and cannot fly as it's wings were broken. Desert Park now use him for educational purposes. It is still a magnificent creature, especially from close-up.
Along the sides of Ulura are a lot of caves. These are used by the Aboriginal people. Men, women, elders and children stay in separate caves. This is one of the larger ones, and was done by stitching a panorama together.
