The wedgetail eagle is probably the most beautiful bird I have seen. In Alice Springs is a Desert Park that is stunning. They have a bird show with free flying wild birds. This particular eagle was injured as a young bird and cannot fly as it's wings were broken. Desert Park now use him for educational purposes. It is still a magnificent creature, especially from close-up.
Along the sides of Ulura are a lot of caves. These are used by the Aboriginal people. Men, women, elders and children stay in separate caves. This is one of the larger ones, and was done by stitching a panorama together.
Uluru is an amazing place. This is one of very few places I have visited, where this massive rock feels as if it has its own presence. Just stunning. When the sun sets, the normally brown rock starts to glow, and it is an incredible sight!
