The crimson rosella (Platycercus elegans) is a parrot native to eastern and south eastern Australia which has been introduced to New Zealand and Norfolk Island. It is commonly found in, but not restricted to, mountain forests and gardens.
I don't know what birds these are. They are small, seems to be very nervous and hardly sit still. It's quite difficult to get a photo of them.
This is a HDR photo taken just before the isolation started in earnest here in Victoria. I missed the really pink part of the sunset, but really like the purple colours here.
